About RISING STARSÂ
“RISING STARS” is an ambitious project incubated by Jill Development Consultancy Ltd in partnership with ADFAT Company Ltd and African Views. The project brings together a global consortium of entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized companies, not-for-profit organizations, potential investors, senior consultants, and institutionsÂ
MISSION:
To foster sustainable development through information sharing, networking, capacity building, and tailored development programs.
VISION:
To empower young adults aged 18-25 to become innovative entrepreneurs and leaders in their communities, bridging the gap between the diaspora and Africa.
OUR APPROACH
At RISING STARS, we believe in the power of collaboration, creativity, experience and knowledge exchange. We work with the private, public, and non-profit sectors to:
Facilitate Networking:Create platforms for interaction between young entrepreneurs, established businesses, investors, and industry experts.
Build Capacity:Offer training and workshops to equip young adults with essential business and leadership skills.
Identify Opportunities:Connect investment opportunities in the diaspora to African markets, fostering a new wave of growth.
Support Entrepreneurs:Provide mentorship, guidance, and resources to young adults in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Target Group:Young adults aged 18-25, aiming to establish business and investment projects with a global impact.Â

HOW WE ENGAGE THE YOUNG ADULTS (18 -25 years old.)
Engaging young adults aged 18-25 in ADFAT’s entrepreneurship program involves a structured and dynamic approach. Here’s a procedure to consider:
1. Initial Outreach and Recruitment
Targeted Marketing Campaign is on going: Leveraging social media platforms, university networks, and local business communities to raise awareness, so far 30,000 young adults have registered.
The young people are currently encouraged to go through our application Processthat includes submitting a business idea or project and demonstrating passion for entrepreneurship.
2. Orientation session is to be organized soon after we identify funding.
An orientation session is to be held tointroduce ADFAT Company Ltd, Jill Development Consultancy and Africa Views, highlighting the mission of the program, and other partners.
There will be clarification of the Program Expectationsregarding discipline, commitment, creativity, experience and the need to participate in all program elements.
One to one need assessment to diagnose each young adults aspirations, development needs regarding business and investment is to be carried out which will then be used to draw individual action plan for the program.

3. Skills Development Workshops
Entrepreneurship and Innovation Workshopswill be Conducted workshops to enhance creative thinking, innovation, and ideation.
Training on Business Planningis to be provided focused on creating solid business plans, market analysis, financial planning, and sustainability strategies.
Creativity & Innovation Sessions are to beOrganized involving brainstorming sessions, design thinking exercises, and problem-solving challenges to foster creativity.
4. Mentorship & Coaching is a must do for the young adult.
Mentorship Programof each young adult by Pairing them with a mentor from ADFAT, the University of Entreprenology, or partner organizations to provide personalized guidance and business insights.
Personal Development Coachingis to be offered to each young adult on soft skills such as leadership, communication, time management, and financial discipline.
5. Hands-On Experience is critical for the success of the project.
Internships & Real-World Projectswill be facilitated with ADFAT partners, Jill Partners, African Views Partners, developers, governments, and the private sector with the aim to encourage the young adults to work on real-world business challenges.
Mini-Business Venturesare to be provided to the young adults with the aim to guide them in starting small, manageable businesses or social impact projects with seed funding and resources from ADFAT, Jill Development Consultancy Ltd, African Views or other partners.

6. Networking & International Exposure
Global Networking Eventsare to be organized to engage participants in local and global networking opportunities with ADFAT’s partners.
International Exchange Programsare to be organized to facilitate exchange programs, to gain international exposure and learning experiences.
7. Fundraising & Investment Opportunities
Pitching Sessionswill be organized where participants pitch their business ideas to investors and developers. These sessions can attract potential investors and collaborators.
Seed Funding & Grants are to be explored tooffer seed funding opportunities for promising projects. Encourage fundraising initiatives and provide guidance on securing investment.
8. Assessment & Feedback throughout the process is to be done.
Progress Monitoringusing performance indicators like business idea development, implementation milestones, and personal growth assessments to track progress.
Regular Feedbackfrom Mentors and coaches is to help participants refine their ideas and strategies.
9. Graduation & Continued Support
Program Completionwill be crowned with Celebration of participants’ achievements through a formal graduation ceremony, recognizing their growth and potential.
Post-Program Supportis to be put in place to continue providing access to networks, investors, and mentorship after program completion to sustain their ventures.
